LOMA LARGA, the Spanish name for long hill is the name of our vineyard. This long hill, which is wrapped by the plantation, creates a unique natural barrier protecting the vineyard from the cold southerly breezes while increasing temperature differences between warm days and cool nights. This unique micro-climate further enhances the already outstanding qualities of the Casablanca Valley. Rigorous vineyard management, varied relief and diversity in its soil enables the full expression of outstanding quality wine.

The Diaz family wine growing tradition goes back to the XIX century when they owned an estate on the outskirts of Santiago. A century later, the great grandson has revived the family tradition by planting vineyards on the Loma Larga estate. The Loma Larga estate is a renowned pioneer in cool climate red wines. They continue to be a leading ambassador of quality and consistency in wines from the Casablanca Valley, Chile.

According to Descorchados, the most prestigious wine guide in Chile, Loma Larga Vineyards has been the most awarded vineyard in the Casablanca Valley. In addition to the award winning Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, Loma Larga offers extraordinary wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rose and Pinot Noir.
